No matter what time of the year you come to Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway will have an event. From Hot Rod demonstrations to Mopar races and finally NASCAR series, there is always something worth viewing and either cheering for or else drooling over. Plus one of the newer additions onto the complex, the Neon Garage, has become one of the very top hot spots to observe the races as well as enjoy the shows. Known by race fans as the “NASCAR Disneyland,” The Neon Garage allows people to get up close and personal with the drivers, their teams as well as the excitement.

Constructed between 2006 and 2007, the Neon Garage is mostly a two-story, entirely windowed structure located in the middle of the infield at this Speedway. Bands play inside the Neon Garage, plus drinks and munchies are always aplenty.

If you ever hang around on the upper floor of the building, you can glance down to check out teams performing on racecars as they make their pit stops. You can also obtain a bird’s-eye view of the Winner’s Circle as well as the champagne popping and even hoopin’ and hollerin’ that takes place after a win. It is really a race fan’s dream to be this up close with the action.

The lower floor of the Neon Garage will allow for further interaction. The team members for different vehicles can open up the windows located on the bottom floor of the Neon Garage and intermingle with the fans. You will even be right next to the drivers while they jump between car and trailer during pit stops. The winning driver even drives through the mass of fans inside the Neon Garage at the conclusion of the race.

If you have not been to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the past couple of years, you need to schedule some time to go and then see the ultra-modern addition called “NASCAR DISNEY LAND.” It is a race fan’s home while away from home, and a excellent spot to bring friends and family for a cool day at the track.

During the time you are in the region of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, keep in mind that there are an abundance of choices and alternatives for places to stay, including hotels, motels, romantic travel inns and including beautiful Bluegreen resorts, offered from the Bluegreen corporation. So obtain your tickets and get up close and personal with the teams in addition to the drivers!
