Swimming – Shed Pounds With An Inground Pool

When people look to diet and lose weight, they want to successfully reach this goal with as little boring or strenuous activity as possible. But when someone says diet and exercise plan the first thing the customer, or reader thinks is, it is going to take forever, it is going to be very time consuming, and it is not going to be too enjoyable. But what if I told you one of the easiest, fastest ways to burn calories could be sitting right in your back yard, and a very nice luxury activity. Would you want to exercise then?

So what is the best way to exercise?

Swim. Swimming is the quickest way to target movement in your entire body slimming and toning arms, legs, torso, buttocks, and back.

Because swimming requires you to use so many more muscles then a normal exercise activity, swimming burns many more calories than almost any other activity.

What kind of swimming pools are best for exercise? Should I go to a pool at a gym or invest in a pool for myself?

Tennis – The 2 Best Strength Training Exercises For Tennis, Period!

To be a successful tennis player you have got to flat out be an athlete on the court. In order to be an athlete you have got to train like one. The best strength and conditioning training for tennis players must involve kettlebell training. I have included to hard hitting drills here that will certainly take your athleticism to a whole new place and help you to dominate the competition on the court.

1. Kettlebell Long Cycle: This is a kettlebell exercise that is wonderful for helping you to develop an athletic body and explosive nature to give you an edge in your tennis game. This very exercise is wonderful for conditioning your body for both strength and cardiovascular fitness. To execute this drill simply place the kettlebell on the ground between your feet. From here you must pick the bell up off of the ground with one arm and properly clean it to your chest.

Next, simply execute a jerk/press and lock the bell out over your head. Make sure that your shoulder and elbow are secure and locked into place. As you lower the bell back to the racked clean position drop it into a swing by “hiking it” between your legs. As it swings back up from between your legs rack the bell again at the clean position to perform the next jerk/press.

Step 3: Make contact with the ball. This step should follow less than a couple seconds after the second step. Your stroke of the racket should follow your step forward, causing the whole procedure to be a single, fluent motion.  Your racket should follow an upside down arc pattern. The stroke should start up high about shoulder height, swing down to below the waist, and then be traveling upwards again when it makes contact with the ball. Topspin is your goal when playing Tennis.

Step 5: Lose Weight! Now your at the fun part of the process, playing the game and dropping pounds. Try and start off slow with your partner, don’t slam it in their face. Begin with slow rallies and aim for your partner (make it easy for them to hit it back), as you progress you will get more competitive. The more competitive your game becomes, the more calories you will burn. Not only that, but you will begin to love the game of tennis
